Key Stage 3 (7th – 9th Grades)
Students are normally aged between 11 and 14 years. Major emphasis at this level is on the transition into the senior school and the development of key skills required for successful completion of Key Stages 4. Students are also encouraged to become more proactive and resourceful learners. The Students follow a broad and balanced curriculum which includes the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, French, Geography, History, Economics Business Studies, Arts, Music, Physical Education, ICT and Physical Education.
Key Stage 3 students will enjoy a greater level of independence and a wider range of subject specialists to lead their learning. We aim to develop students’ critical thinking, research skills, analytical skills and the ability to communicate ideas effectively.
At 8th Grade, the Career and School Counselor will hold a meeting with students and their parents to help students choose their subjects, taking into account interests, aptitude and plans for the future.
Key stage 4 (Years 10 – 11)
At Key Stage 4 students take on the two-year Cambridge IGCSE course from the 10th to 11th Grades) which normally falls within the ages of 14 and 16 years.
In 10th Grade, students embark on the two-year IGCSE course which continues till the 11th Grade. We offer a choice of 15 subjects from which students select a minimum of 7 from the following subjects : Accounting, Additional Mathematics, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Studies, Economics, English Literature, French, Geography, History, Physics, Accounting, Arts, English as a Second Language. Additionally, English language, Literature and Mathematics are compulsory for all students.
